• Interested in Singing since 1994. Recieved guidance of Shri. Uday Gookhale and Late Bhajansamrat Parshuram Panchal.
• In 1999 recieved B grade in Akashwani audition. Total 8 recordings were recorded in Akashwani and recieved guidance of Shri. Avdhut Bam & Rajabhau Shembekar.
• Learning classical music under guidance of Prasad Gulavni since 2010. At the same time learning Harmonium and Organ from Pt. Vishwanath Kanhere and Pt. Tulshidas Borkar.
• Have researched Structural design of the Organ and Reed Design for around 10 years and learned the skills fo the trade.
• There are a lot of misconceptions and confusions regarding Organ. Due to lack of easy availability of Organ in the market and growing curiosity, Bala Date decided to himself study the ins and outs of the manufacturing of Organ. He started studying on making the instrument smaller in size like the harmonium
• After importing reeds from USA, the manufacturing started and Bala Organ And Musicals was formed. Reeds Manufacturing Project is also on the verge of completion after which it would be possible to manufacture reeds in India itself.
• Currently he teaches music in Rajapur Highschool.
• Over 60 Organs have been sold to local as well as foreign customers. David Esteys a researcher from USA also paid a visit to his factory. According to him Bala date is the only suction reed organ manufacturer he has ever seen.
• Till now he has been featured on various news channels like ABP MAAZHA, ZEE 24 TAAS, IBN LOKMAT etc. Also featured in various newspapers.
• His article has also been published in Reed organ society magazine in Netherlands.
• BBC World has contacted him to make a documentary on his work.
